These questions test your ability to reason based on the information in the passage. For example, you might be asked to figure out the meaning of an unfamilair word based on how it is used in context in the passage. Other questions ask you to identify cause-effect relationships or make inferences or generalizations based in the information in the passage. A third type of question asks you about the main points of the passages, or the author's point of view, or pick out what details are most important to the point that the authors is trying to make.
